I had a "Salad Spinner" several years ago and it was a piece of junk. This little guy, on the other hand, is just GREAT. The medium size is just right to work with and does a great job with lettuce or whatever you have. I bought it because I have other Cuisinart products that are quality items. Solid construction and not flimsy material.. Easy to use and quick clean up.. Very happy with this product!!

This is working well. It's straight forward, easy to use. The lid locks down well. You may be shopping for these and considering the OXO one which has a simpler push activated spin mechanism. Very cool, but ours broke. My only small complaint about this one is WHY make the basket green? You can't see little pieces of lettuce on it...so takes a little longer to be sure it's clean.

This is the first spinner I've ever had and it works great! I've mostly been using it for herbs. It does a good job getting them clean and then getting the water off of the leaves and yet is very gentle with them. The spinner seems to be very sturdy and should last a long time. I'm very happy with it and think it's well worth the money.
